September 29, 2020 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm
This discussion will stream on Facebook Live!

Hey Philly! Are you confused about the November election process?
What happens if you mail in your ballot without secrecy envelopes? Can you vote if you have been convicted of a felony? Do you need a driver’s license in order to register? How can you become a poll worker?
Want to meet grassroots organizers who are working to make sure peopleโs votes get counted?
On Tuesday, September 29, The Germantown Info Hub will host a live discussion and Q+A with three generations of local voting rights advocates from the 59th Ward, Ceiba, and Philly Youth VOTE! Annette John Hall, WHYY reporter and host of the podcast The WHY, will moderate.
Hear from the folks who are working on the ground to combat voter suppression and misinformation to make election day a success. You will have an opportunity to ask questions, discuss voting myths, and get the facts about exercising your right to vote.
Featuring:
Clarice Thomas, Democratic committee person for the 59th Ward
Sheyla Street, Philly Youth VOTE! and Vote that Jawn
Barbara Kigozi, Democratic committee person for the 59th Ward
Marcos Lomeli, Ceiba Philadelphia
