In two weeks, the Friends of Vernon Park invite neighbors to show love to Vernon Park by helping clean up at the Love Your Park event.
Neighbors should meet at the toolshed on the park’s Northwest side (Greene Street). While the Friends group will give tools for some clean-up activities like raking leaves, the group asks that people bring their own gloves and water. Alongside raking, neighbors can also expect to plant bulbs and do general park cleaning.
Vernon Park’s Love Your Park event will happen on Saturday, November 12, from 10 a.m. to noon. Neighbors should dress for the weather and can sign up to volunteer for the fall clean-up event here. If there are any questions, please contact info@friendsofvernonpark.org.
