A couple of weeks ago, Andre Carroll became the sole candidate for the primary election for the 201st Legislative District State Representative, after two other candidates withdrew. However, he still faces the general election in November before potentially assuming the role of State Rep.

If successful, Andre will become the second openly Black gay male to serve as a PA State Rep, following in the footsteps of Malcolm Kenyatta. This milestone holds significant implications, and Andre emphasizes the importance of this achievement, as discussed in this video.
